China Embroidery Art Museum Sight Spots are located at the entrance to historic Zhenhu town in Suzhou New District and cover 0.64 square kilometers.

An embroidery street, a China Embroidery Art Museum and various creative studios dotted around the scenic area contribute to its criss-cross layout and enrich the area with various embroidery designs, products and displays, learning and training activities, boutique bed and breakfast places, experience centers, and serve as a base for local intangible cultural heritages.

Wandering around the scenic area, tourists can enjoy water town culture, take a rest and listen to local embroiderers' stories, or get a glimpse into the folk customs of historic Zhenhu town.

The China Embroidery Art Museum was set up in 2007 and coverss 8,000 sq m. It consists of exhibition halls on embroidery history, famous embroiderers, craftsmanship and boutiques, putting on displays of precious embroidery relics and contemporary masterpieces.

The museum has become the largest of its kind in China, playing an all-round role in developing new embroidery techniques, carrying out academic exchanges and promoting the time-honored culture to a wider range of people.

It features an architectural style popular in the regions south of the Yangtze River in ancient times, with white walls, black tiles, pavilions, terraces, open halls, lounge bridges and waterside gardens, offering tourists a feeling of roaming freely around an embroidery art palace with a history of more than 2,000 years.
